Common Name: An alkaloid obtained from Opium

Causes & Symptoms for Narcotinum

• For dry, clammy mouth, thick, indistinct speech,
• Inactivity of the bladder, with difficulty in passing urine.
• Vertigo and nausea worse on motion or exertion indicates Narcotinum.
• Slow evacuation of urine from deficient contractile power.
• It is well indicated in breathing short, hurried.

Stomach and abdomen

Slight sensation of uneasiness in the epigastrium, with darting pains is relieved with Narcotinum.

On little motion or exertion there is instantaneous nausea.

Side effects of Narcotinum

There are no such side effects. But every medicine should be taken following the rules as given.

Dosage and rules while taking Narcotinum

Take 5 drops in half cup of water three times a day.
